New E3 2018 ANTHEM promo images & teaser trailer for EA Play 2018

It's that time of the year again. No, not christmas. Close enough, though. It's E3 season! This always means exciting times for gamers all over the world. And Bioware delivered on that front with their new ANTHEM 2018 promo material and teaser trailer!

It all started yesterday when out of nowhere and an entire year of complete absence and inactivity, EA/Bioware social media accounts like facebook and twitter began posting.

First we received this cryptic message, hinting towards more things coming up:

Everyone was baffled and asking for more details but no update/explanation came for over 24 hours.
In the meanwhile, a promo image featuring the previously known 3 javelin exosuits and another entirely new one, appeared on facebook.

As you can imagine, everyone's hype flame instantly reignited and how could it not?
The image portrays 4 distinctly colored and sized javelin exosuits! Including a green colored we had never seen before.

Here, see for yourself!

After that, back to radio silence. Until earlier today, when this amazing EA Play/ E3 2018 teaser trailer showed up in people's twitter timelines quoting an ingame scene:

Something is out there, it wants to destroy us ALL!

Important things to note about the teaser trailer: The ranger javelin user doesn't appear to have a rocket launcher anymore and the new "green" javelin seems to have a different helmet on when compared to the promo image.

Another thing to take away from the teaser is that the game feel immersive, the cave/ derelict the group of freelancers seem to be in, looks like the remains of a destroyed mega-structure. Awesome!

Finally, the background wheel/structure could very well be some sort of puzzle that players much solve before advancing deeper into the area. Lovely stuff.

After a full year of only reddit and twitter comments about the tiniest details, we're finally one week away from ANTHEM news.

We know that because the ANTHEM website was also updated while everyone was busy watching the teaser trailer and dissecting the mere 6 seconds of it!

Mark your calendar. On June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. PDT, EA PLAY returns with a detailed look at the gameplay of BioWare’s™ upcoming Action-RPG, Anthem™. Here are five things we can share ahead of the stream.
